Looking Forward to 2010…

January 3rd, 2010

KCA was a hustle and bustle of activities, parties & programs leading up to our 2009 Christmas break. A special thank you to all the Teachers, Staff, Families, Students but MOST importantly GOD for making the days leading up to Christmas so successful & enjoyable.

I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas & Happy New Year but more importantly that on Christmas they were reminded of the Greatest gift that wasn’t under their tree. The gift of Jesus!

Its always fun to be singing Christmas carols from door to door and then switch over to Happy Birthday the next. Sometimes the people that are not accustomed to celebrating in this fashion  think we may have gotten our songs crossed until they hear who we are singing to.  Not a bad way to let  JESUS “light shine” wouldn’t you say?

Even though we only have 4 months left of school….I know, hoops and hollers are heard by the students reading this, we have several events in the planning stages now. Please check your calendars coming home for meeting times and events.

If you have any questions, comments, concerns or something you would like to add, please contact Mrs. Taylor at KCA & she will get it to me.

In God’s Service,

Volunteer Lady

Our sympathy goes out to the family
of Mrs. Katie Walker,
who passed away August 12, 2009.
Mrs. Walker was an alumni teacher of KCA
and inspired many youth during her teaching career.
Her legacy still has its marks on the lives of the students she postively affected during her unselfish service
to the mission at Kingdom Christian Academy.
Our prayers and thoughts are with the family
during this time of grieving.
